PROFNIT Network Expansion Program – Expressions of Interest from New Focal Points
One of the actions undertaken by the National Forum of Managers of Innovation and Technology Transfer (FORTEC), in the biennium 2014-2016 was the implementation of the Professional Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Management and Transfer to Innovation (PROFNIT). The course is already fully implemented in 12 (twelve) institutions called Focal Points, as approved by CAPES. These Focal Points are located in the 5 regions of Brazil, comprehending 9 States of the Federation.
In response to the wishes of the various institutions associated with FORTEC and aiming to promote PROFNIT capillarity throughout the National territory, we launched the Call 03/2016 entitled “PROSPECTION OF INSTITUTIONS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN PROFNIT” in October.
We have received several institutional proposals for new Focal Points, namely:

The National Academic Committee (CAN) of PROFNIT is analyzing each of the proposals and waiting for CAPES signaling regarding the procedures necessary to open the formal submission of the adhesion proposals to the APCN / Sucupira Platform.
Shortly, technical visits will be scheduled to each of the proposing institutions, in order to support the demands so that they can be qualified to join the course, following the strict quality rules of CAPES, to which PROFESSIONAL PROFESSIONAL PROFESSIONALS are submitted.
The Management Council (CG) and the National Academic Committee (CAN) congratulate for the excellent articulation of all the institutions that have expressed interest in the course.
